Karen Eckmeier is an award winning quilter, international teacher, author and pattern designer. Her background is in drawing and with no sewing experience, she taught herself to sew in order to make her first quilt. She's been hooked on fabric ever since. Nature often inspires her work. Her art is happy and upbeat, concentrating on the positive whimsical side of life.
