A few years ago 3 or 4 people including Barb T and Cathy Franks did some demonstrations at QGIN. Cathy showed us how to lighten or darken a small section of a quilt. We used an index card to cover and protect a portion of the quilt beside what we were changing and used a toothbrush to lightly touch up the color of the section being worked on. What did we use brush on to soften or shade the fabric patch? Thinned paint? Color block? Oil stick? .... Thanks for being my memory!
