I've been a maker since dinosaurs roamed the earth. When rotary cutters were invented I got interested in quilting. I took a class or two with Mary Ellen Hopkins and fell in love with making patterns. Patterned fabrics scared me so I turned to Amish quilts with rich solid color fabrics. I eventurally made my peace with patterned fabrics and love the bold modern prints coming out today. Over the decades, I learned everything I could and am still learning as new tools are created and new quilters are coming into the craft. Purple is my passion however any color (except browns and beiges) ring my chimes. Quilting gives me joy and I hope when you see my quilts I share that joy with you.
